- completing the daily fitness challenges

- logging a HeadSpace meditation journey

- posting your healthy meals

 

3 ways to win:

- A medal for anyone who completes all 31 challenges

- A prize for Most Improved Competitor

- A prize for the Strongest Bird (most points overall)

RULES AND GUIDELINES

  • You only need to do each workout once each day.

  • There are 7 different workouts to complete and then you will repeat them.

  • You don’t need any special equipment to complete the workouts; just you, your body and a chair or bench.

  • To complete the distance workouts, you will need an app downloaded to your phone or a GPS tracker to record the completed walk, jog or run and then submit to Strong Bird once done.

  • To complete the other workouts you need either a buddy to count your reps/rounds or to confirm your time or video yourself completing the workout and send it to Strong Bird. (you only need to send it to me but I would encourage you to share your story and progress.)

  • On the days marked as REST, show what you have done to make the most of it.

  • When you repeat a workout, the main aim is to beat YOUR previous score.

  • You will receive 20 points for every workout you complete and for showing what you do on REST days. A total of 620 to be earned!)

  • For every second you knock off a distance or timed workout, you will receive an extra point.

  • For every extra rep you complete, you will get an extra point.

  • For every extra round you complete, you will get 10 extra points.

  • To gain extra points, you can do two things:

    1. Start and maintain a Headspace journey. For every day you consecutively complete you will get the date as points. i.e. 1st = 1 point, 2nd = 2points, 3rd = 3 points and so on.  (if you complete all 31 days you’ll receive 496 points.)

    2. Sharing your healthy nutritious meals on Instagram and tagging #strongbirdeats or emailing pictures to strongestbirdcomp@gmail.com. For every photo shared or sent, you’ll get 1 point.

  • Headspace is FREE for the first 10 days and you can repeat this as many times as you like or you can choose to subscribe for more meditation options.

  • Always REMEMBER your main competition is YOU!

  • Complete each workout on the day it is posted and send your video or result as soon as you can so it can be logged ad kept up to date.

  • The more you put into the challenge the more you will get out in the long run and the more points you’ll receive.

  • If you complete all 31 fitness challenges, you’ll get an exclusive t-shirt as a medal of honour to wear.

  • If you are the most improved competitor over the 31 days you’ll receive an exclusive prize and a t-shirt if you complete all 31 fitness challenges.

  • If you have the most points at the end of the challenge you will be crowned STRONGEST BIRD!

  • Images that you share on Instagram and email to strongestbirdcomp@gmail.com may be used during the challenge to encourage, motivate and inspire others to push themselves and keep going.

  • Take care when out and about, make sure you are safe and that you make every effort to prevent injury to yourself.

  • Most of all, have fun and enjoy putting some new healthy habits in place! Who knows what you might gain?
