Living the Strong Bird lifestyle


I wasn't always a Strong Bird who enjoys exercises, challenges herself both mentally and physically and eats a balanced diet with the occasional treat. I used to be the complete opposite, sitting around all day, not doing any exercise greater than walking around town and eating mostly unhealthy food with chocolate whenever I wanted. And the most challanging thing I had done was move away from home.

Now I know you will be thinking that is quite a challenge in itself however for me, an opportunity came up and I took it. It was a big step but one that felt right and I haven't looked back since. Although I managed to take on this big challenge which tested me like nothing before, I didn't take on smaller challenges and I wasn't looking after myself as well as I could have done.

By this I mean I wasn't eating correctly, I wasn't exercising, I wasn't doing anything other than going to work and then going home.

CHANGE came though! From an unlikely place... a comment from a family member, I was becoming a little chubby they said. It wasn't meant as harsh comment, more of an observation but one I didn't like so when I got home I decided to do something about it.

It was as simple as a comment to get me started on the path to changing my lifestyle and although if you saw me you would say I look amazing and I train like a beast but I am still a working progress.

With this blog I aim to show you how I live a healthy lifestyle and inspire you to do the same!
